Currently in Vietnam, academic textbook market is not significant in the higher education due to slow adoption.  However, academic and library reference books are commonly used in institutional libraries.  To enter this market successfully, ordering process will play an important role.

Vietnam Book Promotion Service has worked with many higher education institutions and based on their needs and practices, we have developed a web-based application called Book Collection System.  This system allows user like lecturer, researcher, and librarian to browse books (by publisher, subject, and published year) and search (by keyword, phrase and ISBN) which then can easily make into a book collection.  Once the book collection is ready, user can click a button to request a quote or placing an order.  Another feature of the system is that it checks against user previously stored collections/orders and automatically alert user.  Of course, ordering extra copies will not be an issue.

With this simple but powerful tool, publishers can easily, deliberately promote their products. Publisher can utilize this tool not just for Vietnam but also other markets.
